Our Ten Principles:
1. We are dedicated to executive Search, Coaching and Assessment. In Headhunter mode, we place people in positions that pay in excess of US$ 100 thousand a year in the Natural Resources space (Oil, Gas, Mining and Energy). In Coaching and Assessment Modes, we focus on present and future senior executives;
2. We are passionate about what we do and proud to do it well;
3. We strive to focus continuously on both the Forest and the Trees. We pay attention to detail. And listen carefully to what the client says (and doesn’t say);
4. In doubt between being Fast and Deep, we will always prefer to be Deep. We meet goals and deadlines without skipping steps;
5. Our commitment is to our Clients. But our Main commitment is to the Market. This means we will never Sell what we wouldn’t Buy;
6. We are good at Originating work, but even better at Execution. We believe the world’s best calling card is flawless Execution. This includes 6a) scanning the market for potential candidates even before writing a proposal, 6b) knowing the clients’ space Natural Resources (oil, gas, mining and energy), 6c) as a people business a direct rapport with clients and candidates is crucial; and 6d) quarterly feedback during the Guarantee period: the first year of employment of the people we place;
7. We don’t want a US$ 0.01 we don’t deserve: if we feel a client will be better served by proceeding alone, or with a different supplier, we will say so;
8. People who work for a client or ex-client are off-limits to us. The criterion is 24 months after the end of the last engagement (this applies to Search, Assessment and Coaching). Unless waived in writing, those we place are off-limits for as long as they remain under the employ of the company we hired them for;
9. In the world of Professional Services, “kicking the tires” is not possible. We differentiate ourselves to the clients and to the market via 9a) Thought Leadership and 9b) a bulletproof reputation (see below);
10. It takes thirty years to build a Reputation and thirty minutes to lose it. We will only do work that can be presented in a major-circulation periodical. Our work entails continuously monitoring our public image.
